Policemen of North Dakota state, USA, used Ozzy Osborne’s name to arrest about 30 searched criminals.
The police has distributed almost to five hundreds suspected in crimes the invitation on “a party with Osborne’s participation” which was singing nearby. Everyone who has responded to the invitation, have been detained.
As the sheriff of district has told, the police did not want “to be disrespectful toward Mr. Osborne or to his performance”. “We just used the creative approach to criminal investigation to involve persons concerning whom the sanction on arrest is given out”, – the representative of law enforcement bodies has explained.
However policemen’s “the creative approach” has not impressed Osborne. “Instead of arranging press conference and to extol himself, sheriff should apologize that he used my name in connection with these arrests. It is offensive for me and for my spectators, and this also shows how this concrete sheriff is lazy when business concerns works” – the musician has declared.
