Hitachi Company has developed a technology, allowing increasing capacity of magnetic hard disks several times. It became possible owing to use of nanotechnology at manufacture of magnetic reader heads. Engineers of the company managed to create such head which sizes do not exceed one two-thousandth thickness of human hair. On the disk with such head the quantity of the information on square inch of the carrier’s surface can make one terabit (in modern disks this figure does not exceed 200 GBs)
